Cristiano Ronaldo... Showboat?

Ok so I have heard numerous times about how people dislike Cristiano because of his "showboating". Every time I ask people who their favourite player is, they reply with someone other than Ronaldo, and of course I ask them: "What do you think of Ronaldo?" to experience their reaction. Most of the replies I recieve are negative, and class Cristiano as a pretty-boy showboater that ruins the game.

Now in my opinion, CR is a fantastic player. He is extremely talented and one of the best in the world right now. He has so many strengths that class him as one of the best, and you can see it when he plays.

I believe that many people dislike him because he is so good. He destroys their favourite teams and puts their players to shame. He uses his skill to his advantage, and this is what people hate? I thought Football was about skill and athleticism? Which he has both of. I think the main reason is jealousy. Because he is not on YOUR team, he is a bad player. I bet if he was signed to your team you would love him because he'd win you games.

All I can say is, it's rough at the bottom but even rougher on top. I think he is entertaining to watch and an inspiration to all footballers who wish to be the best. That being said, YOU MAD?
